First of all, I am now just realizing how old we are. I was writing to Kasey about how I “haven’t been to a wedding in like 15 years” and I stopped myself because that’s probably accurate. And 15 years ago I was already five. People always say fifteen years ago when they exaggerate about how long ago it was. And it is soooo long ago, but I actually remember stuff about being 5. Ew, we are so old. That sucks.
Today during theology, bored as usual, I started making a list of stuff I like:
- Mushrooms on pizza
- Eating other people’s french fries
- A cheddar cheeseburger after I haven’t had one in weeks
- Cheese in general, and cheese snacks (like cheez-its oe cheese puffs)
- When people braid my hair
- Boy bands
- When people do my makeup for me
- The 4th of july
- Seeing/hearing an ice cream truck
- Talking about love. and life. and lessons learned.
- Holding hands and hugs
- Dogs
- Japanese food. certain chinese food. Italian food. Thai food.
- Going to Trader Joe’s
- Eating all the samples at Costco
- Being in pajama pants
- The dance at the end of Slumdog Millionaire
- Piggy back rides (yes, still.)
- Funfetti
- Macademia nut cookies
- The cherry blossom tree outside my house
- Pearl earrings
- White v-neck shirts
- When my different groups of friends start getting to know each other
- When my roommates moms bring them food and they’re out on the kitchen table
- Making to do lists
- Singing in the car, and in general
- Quotes from movies like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. The corny ones about life that are sentimental and stuff.
- Food from Panera
- When the elevator in Walsh is already at 1 or when someone else in the elevator is also going to 4th floor
- Wearing boys sweatshirts
- Reading The Great Gatsby
- The smell of fresh laundry
Wow, almost everything had to do with food.
