Me gustas cuando callas

Ohhhh holy lord, I’m like sweating bullets. My ex boyfriend just IMed me on facebook chat. That was really unexpected. After everything that has happened between us, I kind of accepted the fact that him and I would probably never speak again. I figured I’d bump into him at some point, we live in a small town, but I thought it’d be a “How are you, good, bye” sort of thing. I would hear from him twice a year: one text on Christmas and one text on my birthday. I kind of wanted it that way. I don’t hate him, I don’t have any extreme feelings of malice towards him, but I don’t want him in my life. That sounds completely awful, but he really is the only person I would ever say that about.

Anyway, he said: “hey, I was working with an intern from BC today and I thought about you. how is everything?”

Ughhhh. Why does he all of a sudden want to know? This is bugging meee. I’m pretty stressed.

Things I have learned/realized being at college:

1. My hands & feet are way smaller than everyone else’s
2. Ramen and chinese takeout = delicious
3. Videogames are really boring
4. I rarely ever like to be alone
5. When someone sits down, I always sit up really close to them. I don’t realize it at the time. Essentially, I constantly invade personal space. Soorrrryyy.
6. I’m soooo disorganized, but always on time.
7. More and more I appreciate the friends that I can just sit and talk with.
8. It is almost impossible to do long periods of homework, and I take breaks like crazy.
9. I’m very good at remembering names
10. It’s weird that the most random people know each other through friends. It makes the school not seem soo big.
11. I love mushrooms, cheese, bananas, and coffee. Separately.
12. Some people just don’t like other people, for no reason at all.
13. I am overly sensitive.
14. I look forward to lunch and dinner. Like, I actually get excited for it.
15. I dance very awkwardly. I am pretty awkward in general.
16. People that don’t stick up for themselves or never state their opinion make me angry.
17. Minnesota accents are really annoying
18. I really hate when people say “legit” and “epic fail.” I want them to stop.
19. I don’t think it’s weird that I hold people’s hands so much, but apparently it is. Booooo
20. At college, friends really become family, and you go through a lot with them, and you learn a lot. And I really like that.
21. I like taking the Newton/Comm Ave bus now that I don’t live on Newton.
22. Maybe I should start watching The Office. Everyone else loves it.
23. 75 minute classes are extremely hard to get through.
24. I could actually see myself living in Massachussetts when I’m older.
25. People come in and out of your life, but if someone is that important to you, the effort will be made to keep in touch.

Yeah this was pretty boring. I was feeling reflective, though.
